As a long-time engineer, I have been designing hardware and software for decades. In my day jobs, I’ve designed video conversion boxes, audio amplifiers, robot control units, and many other things. But I’ve always had admiration for those people that contributed to the open-source movement. I’ve benefited from the use of KiCad, GIMP, LibreOffice, Inkscape, GCC, FreeCAD, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and BeagleBone to name a few. I decided to start blogging because I actually like to document what I do and I thought that this will help me get organized on my projects, learn a few new things, and maybe help someone else out in their journey. If you have any questions, comments, or ideas for me, please get in touch.
